The Decon with Chris Mead Copy

A weekend with Chris Mead exploring legendary improv form The Decon.

A weekend workshop with Chris Mead – 2nd & 3rd December 2023.

The Decon is a legendary format that allows any long form improviser to have their cake AND eat it, THEN produce another EVEN BETTER cake from beneath the table, cut it into weird shapes, start a food fight, eat that one too and then have some jelly & ice-cream for dessert.

It contains elements of naturalism, narrative improv, premise games, thematic work and some wonderful short form thrown in for good measure. It is joyous chaos wrapped in an elegant structure.

Chris loves the decon (you guessed that, right!) it and would very much welcome the chance to teach it to you.

Suitable for people with some improv experience and an interest in long form, aged 18 and over. If you are any doubt of this is for you contact us.
