Social Notworking

Social Notworking is a creative and fun way to meet new people.

Meet new people. Have more fun.

If you want to meet new people without the usual trappings of a networking event, then Social Notworking is for you.

At these events you’ll enjoy:

  • Creative experiences that let you connect beyond the work.

  • A chance to learn, make, create, explore and have fun.

  • Listening and being curious rather than selling.

We’ll get to know each other through engaging activities rather than asking “What do you do?”.

You’ll soon get to know who you’d like to work with. But sshhh…it isn’t networking! 😉

Quick summary
– Thursday 20 June

– 6pm to 8pm
– The Think Tank, High St, Ipswich IP1 3QH

– £20 per person

Non-alcoholic refreshments will be provided.

We’ll be taking a break over the summer and back for more Notworking in September (date TBC soon).

We’re also giving Social Notworking a run out in Norwich in May and June and tickets are available here.

The best place to park is Crown Car Park. The multi-storey section closes in the evening, but if you use the surface parking you’ll be fine!

About your hosts
Alex Menhams & Malcolm Beer came up with the idea for Social Notworking at a regular networking event. It seemed like a fun idea so we’re doing it. Come along and help us make it a regular thing.

Alex provides creative facilitation and professional development for a wide range of organisations through Here & Now People. He’s also a keen gardener, forager, improviser and wannabe Zen monk.

Malcolm is a dynamic and passionate coach on a mission to help people unlock their full potential so they can be who they are meant to be. He also organises charity obstacle races and has a surprising number of dogs (even he is surprised).
