A fun & friendly introduction to improv for absolute beginners.
Immerse yourself in the world of improvisation!
— Tickets will be available from 12pm on Wednesday 1st October —
Our Level 1 Beginners Course is the perfect introduction to the joys of improvised games, scenes, characters and stories.
No acting or improv experience needed – just bring your curiosity. Over five Sunday mornings you’ll explore playfulness, creative self-expression and confidence, while sharpening your listening and collaboration skills.
Along the way you’ll meet like-minded people in a supportive, friendly environment. And fair warning: improv is highly addictive!
Why improv?
Improv isn’t just about laughs—it’s a powerful tool for self-expression and growth.
This short course will help you let go of perfectionism and self-doubt so you can spend more time laughing, connecting and creating in the here & now.
It’s not stand-up: you won’t be asked to perform solo or told to “be funny.” Improv is about listening, collaboration, being present, and turning “mistakes” into gifts together.
Who is it for?
We welcome anyone looking for a safe, fun and supportive place to try something new.
Our style of improv is playful, joyful, mindful and hopeful, drawing from both improv comedy and unscripted theatre.
There’s no performance at the end—this is just for the lucky people in the room where it happens!
What we’ll explore together
– Listening and being present
– Letting go and sharing control
– Patience and generosity
– Trusting your impulses
– Embracing mistakes as gifts
– Daring to be obvious
– Making your partner look good
